MISC 1/48 U.S. 

The U.S. aircraft collection contains a wide variety of aircraft from the pre WWII period through the cold war era. Some may wonder why the classic planes are not here. The truth is I built most of the classics in my younger days and while I could probably do them more justice now, I don't like covering old territory. Part of my enjoyment of the hobby is research and learning about types that I haven't built before. So what you see here is probably a bit more esoteric than other collections.  I felt I had to include the XP-55 and XP-56 just to prove the Germans weren't the only ones building unusual aircraft. The Vietnam era aircraft are either planes that I had some contact with of felt were very interesting and were active during my brief career in the Air Force. Anyway what I have in the stash to build is listed below.
