The Eduard Yak-3 in 1/48 scale was the first kit I complete after returning to the hobby after many years and was the first time I used photo etched parts, sludge washes and Future. While I think some of my skills have improved since then this is still one of my favorite models.
Built in parallel with the Yak was this Tamiya 1/48 scale Russian Jeep the Gaz-67.
