This is a Tamiya kit in 1/48 and was my introduction to what is know as the salt chipping technique to replicate the effect of peeling and chipping paint that was common to many Japanese aircraft in the Pacific Theater. The cockpit was enhanced with some photo etche details. The kit went together quite nicely and is another of my favorites.
